HOME FARM: Help us plant 1,500 trees this winter

Rob Hopkins leading our tree planting initiative on the Aldenham Estate

With the help of our Habitat and Conservation Expert Rob Hopkins and Home Farm Glamping Manager Alice Darby, we are planting Queen’s Green Canopy trees this winter to revive and restore habitats across the Aldenham Estate.

Nearly 30 species of tree, including oak, hawthorn, holly, maple and lime are going into the ground to replace trees that have reached the end of their life, create nature corridors and return nutrients back to the depleted soil, some of which has been used for farming over the last century.

The work doesn't stop here. We are looking to improve biodiversity across the estate with woodland regeneration and planting high on the agenda. We are always grateful for corporate groups looking to swap the boardroom for the woodland to help us with rewilding across the estate.
